Organic Aloe Vera and the skin ...Part IV

If you was born between the years 1948-1964 you belong to one of the largest groups in the country..."The Baby Boomers"...and this baby boomer generation, plain and simple, does not want to get old and more importantly, does not want to look old!

When it comes to the skin with this baby boomer generation, taking care of the skin is a major priority, if not the main priority. When it comes to the skin …keeping your skin looking young and healthy …what ever it takes. From skin strategies of looking younger …to the so-called smart and simple skin care solutions out there on the market today. You're willing to give them a try at least once.

However, with this countless supply of products, these new "state of the art" products, as well as, the products that have been around for a while, not to mention the procedures in advertising on TV and in the magazines …many people are unsure about how to treat common skin problems.

As I travel around this country and talk with this generation of boomers, the question always comes up ...Is there any way possible to reverse the aging once the wrinkles and the age spots start to appear?

Most, so called experts in the skin care industry will tell you, skin that has been exposed to the sun's harsh ultraviolet rays can definitely be improved. But, your first step is to limit any further damage to the skin by using a sunscreen if you're planning a trip outside.

The reason being, any ultraviolet rays from the sun are cumulative. That is, you may be in the direct sunlight for only five-ten minutes, but over time, those five-ten minutes will add up by the end of the month.

Lets take a closer look; up to 80% of all skin damage is caused by the ultraviolet rays of the sun …period. Medical fact!!

FYI …ultraviolet B (UVB) rays is the cause of sunburn and skin cancer, while ultraviolet A (UVA) rays are responsible for the damage that is associated with aging.

One more tip. Unlike UVB rays, UVA rays can penetrate your skin even on cloudy overcast days. That's why it's always important to use a sunscreen that absorbs both UVA and UVB rays with a sun-protection factor (SPF) of 15 or higher, just to be on the safe side.

My last tip for the day and a better solution: always apply a topical Stabilized Organic Aloe Vera Skin Creme to your skin about 10 minute before you apply your sunscreen.

See for yourself, it's never to late to start your personal regimen. Researchers have found that by protecting your skin in this manner on a consistent daily basis, you can actually begin to reverse the sun damage that's already occurred. Now that's some great news!!

So, until the next time...drink plenty of clean, fresh, filtered water with two-four ounces of Organic Aloe Vera everyday and be sure it is the "best tasting aloe"

As always ...know your supplier!
